September 2024 Owner Operator of the Month – Andre Allen

 

We are thrilled to announce Andre Allen as our September 2024 Owner Operator of the Month!

Andre keeps himself motivated on the road by listening to gospel music, which helps him stay focused throughout his trips.

Reflecting on his experiences, Andre recalls one of his favorite routes: a drive from Portage, IN to Laredo, TX, and back. The combination of good pay and stunning views made it particularly memorable.

When he’s not working, Andre enjoys spending time with his family, especially his five grandsons, who bring him immense joy. He is grateful for the love and support they offer.

To newcomers in the industry, Andre offers this valuable advice: patience and planning are essential. “PRE-TRIP and PREPLAN are key,” he says, reminding drivers that if the initial plan doesn’t work out, it’s okay to adapt and find another opportunity. He also stresses the importance of building strong relationships with dispatchers and approaching challenges with courage and kindness.

When asked what he appreciates most about working at TSH, Andre points to the supportive environment, where the team is always ready to help, even in tough times.
