May 2024 Owner Operator of the Month – Michael Ray

Congratulations to Tennessee Steel Haulers’ Owner Operator of the Month: Michael Ray!
We’re excited to celebrate Michael Ray, a dedicated and hardworking owner-operator who keeps the wheels of the industry turning. Michael enjoys passing the time by listening to sports talk and live sporting events, keeping entertained on those long hauls. His most memorable load was a 12.4-foot wide haul from Laredo to North Carolina, his first time using an escort, making it a unique and unforgettable experience.
Outside of work, Michael loves vacationing with his wife and kids. Fishing, relaxing, and watching sports are among his favorite pastimes. Family time is his top priority. Michael’s advice to fellow truckers is to “keep your truck loaded as much as you can. Empty miles take money out of your pocket. You may not see it at first, but deadhead miles add up.”
Michael attributes much of his success to his wife, who holds down the home while he’s away, ensuring the family is okay and keeping him stress-free on the road. Thank you, Michael, for your dedication and hard work. You’re an inspiration to us all!
Thank you, Micheal, for being an important part of the TSH family! If you want to join our team, you can find more information at idriveTSH.com. You can also directly connect with a TSH recruitment representative by email at recruiting@tenh.com or by phone at (877) 244-0784.
