Congratulations to Chris Guffey, our Owner Operator of the Month for June 2025!

Chris brings a strong work ethic and a thoughtful approach to every haul. When asked how he passes the time on the road, he shared that he usually talks to a friend or his wife — hands-free, of course — and spends a lot of time planning his next move. One of his most memorable loads was a 14-foot-wide piece of equipment he hauled from Los Angeles to Florida, which he recalls not only for its size but also for the solid payout. Outside of work, Chris enjoys working around the house, spending time with his family, and going to church. His advice to other Owner Operators is to stay ahead and communicate — especially when heading into unfamiliar areas. “Call someone at TSH,” he says. “Communication is key. Use your agents and the whole team. Just keep moving!” What Chris values most about being with TSH is the freedom and resources available to him. “I’ve always had my choice,” he says. “As long as I do my job, I know I won’t be micromanaged.” When asked what’s helped him succeed, Chris didn’t hesitate: “I’m not afraid to work. I’ve got a strong work ethic, and I’m not picky about where I go or what I haul. I’ll take on anything!”
