Congratulations to Stephen Patrick, our August 2024 Owner Operator of the Month! We had the pleasure of speaking with Stephen to learn more about his experience on the road. To pass the time while driving, Stephen enjoys listening to podcasts and dancing along to music, always finding ways to stay busy and energized. When asked about his most memorable load, Stephen couldn’t pick just one—each haul brings something new and exciting.

Outside work, Stephen puts God first and is a devoted family man who loves spending time with his loved ones. He also believes in helping others, offering a hand whenever possible, and staying positive because, as he says, “the energy you give is the energy you receive.” His advice for other Owner Operators is to monitor your fuel carefully, only filling up as needed based on the load, and to stay on top of your equipment by checking it at every stop. This way, if something needs fixing, you’re prepared and won’t be caught off guard.

What Stephen values most about being with TSH is the freedom to run wherever he wants without feeling micromanaged. He credits his success to learning how to save money and always setting aside funds for truck emergencies.
