July 2017 Owner Operator of the Month: Marcus Moten

 

It’s with great pleasure that we announce that Marcus Moten has been named TSH Owner Operator of the Month for July 2017.  

Mr. Moten is celebrating his 1st anniversary working with TSH on September 6th! Last month he drove 12,322 miles with us, keeping up with the steady flow of loads to be moved out of our Cofield terminal.  He has an EOBR in his lease purchased International Prostar.  With a clean inspection and driving record as well as up-to-date log submissions, Marcus is a valued partner to TSH!

What has helped you to be so successful?
“The managers that you’ve put in place have made a big difference on the survival of the new drivers.  Amy checked on me, made sure that everything was going right and would help find the answers.  I’ve had companies in the past that just abandon you.  She coached me through situations that were tough so I could learn how to handle them better in the future and that has made all the difference to me.“

What is your advice to other Owner Operators?
“Stay loaded. Staying moving, constantly moving.  Always be ready for the next load.”

What do you value most at TSH?
“Honesty.  They’ve always done what they said they would do.”
