Tennessee Steel Haulers Employees Enjoy Celestial Treats
On Aug. 21, 2017, Nashville experienced a total solar eclipse—the last one in Nashville took place 539 years ago! In recognition of this rare occurrence, TSH employees were given the opportunity to enjoy the main event outside of the office. Break rooms were filled with individual goodie bags that included protective eye wear, Starbursts, Milky Way minis, and eclipse gum. There were also a variety of Sun Chips and Moon Pies for the taking.
At exactly 1:27:24 pm, the total eclipse occurred, and it ended at 1:28:23 pm here in Nashville. During this time, the sky grew dark, the birds stopped chirping and the temperature dropped. Onlookers could even see stars during the eclipse. Nashville was lucky enough to be in the path of totality, and this was a great opportunity for employees to gather and share a unique event. It was a stellar experience for everyone!
